Ten Ways to Spice Up Your Sex Life With Yoga

1) Increasing Sensitivity

The breathing exercises that are done during yoga help you to manage your stress. Yoga, prayer, and meditation can make your health improve by changing your gene activity patterns, which affect the response of your body to stress. The improved circulation, fresh oxygen, as well as the ability to focus your breath through your body will enhance your sexual sensitivity and responsiveness.

2) Better Orgasms

The influence of yoga on the orgasms that you have during intimacy is two-fold. You will have more control of your sex organs and pelvic floor muscles. Harnessing this while you are having sex will help you climax magnificently.

3) Improving Energy

Learning how to alleviate stress and relax through breathing while you are physically active, as well as just having fun, will leave you feeling more energized. This is an invigorating exercise, simply because you are being good to your body. Best of all, you will get to last longer during intimacy with an increase in your stamina

4) Body Acceptance and Knowledge

The purpose of yoga is to embrace your body. You will be more aware of the limits and strengths of your body while you develop your physical strength, flexibility, and coordination, which will help you during sex. Yoga will also make you more confident and graceful in the movements that you make during love making

5) Better Fitness

By using the muscles that you don't normally use, you will begin to feel more fit. Your body is going to be more toned since you are working out, and you could even notice that your metabolism increases. Better toning of your muscles will increase your responsiveness to sex as well.

6) New Positions

You will get the chance to do more types of positions during sex to heighten your pleasure by exercising these muscles. With more flexible joints, muscles, as well as a toned butt, abdominals, and thighs, you will get to take part in more exotic postures.

7) Better Foreplay

Yoga and sex are very similar in that it is unwise and impractical to attempt something without first warming up, and this type of exercise reminds us that it's necessary to prime our bodies before they will reward us.

8) Glowing

Yoga will give you a new take on life, as this practice will leave you feeling alive sexually since you will understand the connection of your mind and body better. You will also feel more confident in yourself, as well as your sexual nature.

9) Relationship Boost

Couples that do yoga together will learn how to breathe and move as one. They also learn how to put their energies in sync as they delve into their creativity and potential sexually.

Yoga For Parents - Five Things You Must Teach Your Children About Yoga - Part 1 of 3

Five Things You Must Teach Your Children About Yoga

1.       Yoga is FUN. Children are natural yogis. They like to stretch, play and move around, yet at the same time, when they are absorbed in an activity, they give it their full attention. When you teach your child yoga, make sure you keep it light. Most yoga poses are named after animals, so, when showing your child The Downward Dog Pose, woof like a dog and wag your tail.

2.       Yoga makes you STRONG. Learning to stand in your power, to feel your energy and roar like a lion in the Lion Pose or hiss like a snake in The Cobra Pose gives children an opportunity to safely express their inner emotions and release any internal frustrations they may have.

3.       Yoga helps you to RELAX. Your child spends a large part of their day being stimulated and taught new subjects. There is little time in the school curriculum and after-school activities for your child to rest and unwind. Just like adults your child needs quiet, down-time. Yoga relaxation exercises give your child the space and permission to relax and rest their minds. I remember teaching yoga to a class of highly activity boys aged 5. At the end of the relaxation period, one boy sat up and said "my brain cells have gone all quiet". He was amazed. Even at the tender age of five he could feel the difference 3 minutes relaxation made on his brain cells.

4.       Yoga inspires CREATIVITY. Children love to put their own stamp or mark on a yoga pose. In a class of 10 children, you will get at least 5 variations of the Downward Dog pose and 5 different names of dogs. Your child will enjoy making up their own poses and shapes to share with you.

5.       Yoga encourages SELF-LOVE. Yoga for Children is designed to foster within your child a sense of their own being ness and connection to the wider scheme of life. Guided visualisations practices help you child to tune into their inner power as well remind them that they are more than their physical body. Activities, like colouring in mandalas, playing yoga trust games and yoga songs all help to promote a strong sense of self and inner love within your child's heart.

As you know, children are curious and keen to learn. The more your child sees you practice yoga, the easier it is for you to introduce and share the joys and benefits you gain with your child. Take it easy with your children, let them teach you! You may be surprised at what they can teach you.
