Points To Be Followed Before Learning Yoga

Once you have decided to practice yoga for better living and spiritual health, you need to take care of the following points so as to prevent injuries to your physical self:

o  Physical condition of the individual: usually, it is recommended that people with normal health practice do yoga practice. But if you are suffering from some physical problems and are using yoga to cure it, you need to follow certain precautions since performing yoga practices without proper precautions may lead to harmful effects on the body. This is because the internal organs like heart, lungs, kidneys etc. are involved and may get harmed if you do not practice yoga properly. Hence it is recommended that you follow the yoga techniques under the expert guidance.

o  Right advice: it is important for you to get the proper instructor to teach you the yoga techniques. Usually, people who choose the profession of a yoga teacher do not understand the scientific basis behind the yoga practice and just impose their opinions and likes and dislikes on the students. They bring an element of mystery, charge exorbitant fees and introduce rites and rituals which are not a part of yoga.

o  Age and sex: yoga can be practiced by anybody irrespective of age and sex. However it is important to note that certain yoga techniques should not be followed under certain circumstances. Women, who are pregnant or menstruating, should avoid the poses which lay a great stress on the abdomen. Children below eight years should not practice any yogic technique but yogic breathing should be introduced only after twelve years. Very young and old should avoid the poses with the intense twists. After a certain age avoid strenuous practice but you can practice pranayam, dhyana and simple postures.

o  Place and surroundings: the place for yoga should be well protected from, animals, rodents and insects. If you choose the indoor room, keep it well lit and should be airy. If you choose the outdoors, the surroundings should be quiet. But avoid the outdoors if it is cold, rainy or very hot. The ground chosen should be plain and flat.

o  Time: morning is the ideal time for the practice since it incorporates regularity, but evening time can also be chosen since the body is already warmed up. Your stomach should not be completely full. So if you have had a meal, you can perform yoga after five hours.

o  Diet: take simple and nutritious diet. Do not overeat. Keep chillies and spices to the minimum. It is not important to be vegetarians but do not eat more than your body's requirements.

o  Interval: it is advisable to be regular but if for some reason like a lot of work in office or sickness or any other reason you need to skip a day or two it is fine. But once the reason is over, go back to your original routine. Avoid taking long and frequent gaps.

o  Clothing: choose light and loose fitting clothes. If you live in a hot climate, you can opt for the sleeveless shirt or a vest. However, in temperate climate, your clothing should offer protection against the cold weather but at the same time do not hinder the movements.

o  The seat: always perform the yoga practice on the mat or a carpet but never on the uncovered floor.

o The order of different techniques: when you are combining different techniques like surya namaskar, weight training etc. with yoga, keep a rest period of fifteen minutes between the two. Within the yoga practice, start off by postural techniques, followed by breathing techniques and the techniques of mental concentration in the mentioned order.

Want Better Sex? Practice These Yoga Positions

Many men maintain their penis health as a means of ensuring better sex for themselves and their partners, and it is undeniably true that a healthy penis is better positioned to create satisfying sexual activities. However, focusing solely on the manhood is not enough. To achieve the goal of better sex, a man's entire body should be in good health. One way to help maintain overall health while at the same time working toward improving one's sexual health is to regularly practice yoga.

Yoga has become huge in Western society in recent years, and while more women than men still practice it, the proportion of male yoga enthusiasts has risen steadily. And why not? Yoga is excellent exercise that also can help to release tension and stress, while at the same time helping to keep blood flowing throughout the body. All of that adds up to making a man more sex-ready in general.

Positions

While any yoga course can be beneficial for a man, those seeking to include yoga as part of their "better sex search" may want to focus on such positions as these:

- Cobra. The cobra pose is one of the most popular in yoga and almost certain to be included in any basic yoga class. For this position, a person lies face down on the floor, with the hands spread by the shoulder. While inhaling, he straightens the arms, lifting the torso up off the floor and stretching upward. If possible, a man may want to stretch his neck upward as well. After holding the pose 15-30 seconds, he returns to lying down. The cobra works the lower back and the arms (making it good exercise for the Missionary and other positions), but also helps strengthen breathing control.

- Butterfly. Sit on the floor, bend the knees and bring the soles of the feet together and as close to the midsection as possible without pain. Keeping the back straight, try to press the knees closer to the floor. This provides a good stretch for the crotch; it is also believed in tantric circles to open sexual channels in the male.

- Horse. Standing with knees apart (heels just slightly wider than knees), bend the knees while keeping the back straight. Keep the back straight and don't lean forward. The horse strengthens the legs and aids in balance. It also focuses attention on hip flexibility, which is crucial for thrusting purposes during intercourse.

- Crescent Moon. Stand straight with feet together, arms extended above head with hands together as if praying. Bend slowly to one side, return to center, bend to the other side, and return again to center. Crescent moon helps keep sides limber but it also contributes again to hip flexibility.

- Bridge. Another very popular pose, the bridge involves lying flat on the back, arms by the side. Bend the knees, bringing feet close to the posterior. Lift the torso while pressing down on the feet, raising the hips into the air. Hold for 30 seconds and the return the hips and torso to the floor. The bridge is especially helpful for "woman on top" sexual positions, as it allows the man to contribute some movement that can create new angles of penetration.

Yuga can be an excellent part of a man's better sex program; such a comprehensive approach should also include the regular use of a superior penis health creme (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil) to keep the member in prime condition (and therefore more likely to be a fervent participant in any sexual encounters that come its way). Many men find that, as they become more experienced, they encounter a diminution of sensitivity in their penis, often due to rough sex or overuse. These men need a crème with acetyl L carnitine, a neuroprotective ingredient that helps protect against the peripheral nerve damage that results in loss of penile sensation. They'll get even better results if the crème also contains alpha lipoic acid, a potent antioxidant that performs synergistically with acetyl L-carnitine. Alpha lipoic acid helps offset oxidative damage to penis skin cells, leaving the penis looking healthier and more vibrant.
